How to stop begging?

What is begging ?

       Needy , poor , or disabled people start asking for money or food it’s begging but does they really need it??? Or it became a famous profitable business with zero investment 🤨 

In order to entice philanthropy among begging mafia donors, the organs of abducted children are being physically mutilated or mutilated with acid.  For some, blood vessels are sewn to stop the blood supply to body parts and lead disfiguration of children😢. 

Begging in Islam:

There are numerous warnings in Hadith against persistent begging. Two of them are following:

1.  Sayyiduna Abu Sa’id Al Khudri (radiyallahu ‘anhu) says,

“Some of the people of the Ansar asked something from Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), and he gave it to them. Then they again asked Him and He gave them until He had spent everything he had. He then said, “If I had anything more, I would not withhold it from you. If someone refrains from begging, Allah will spare him from needing to ask. If someone wants to be independent, Allah will make him so…”

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 1469)

1. Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah  ibn ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“A man who continues to beg, will not have any flesh on his face on the Day of Qiyamah”

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 1474 and 

 Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1040)

Conclusion :

 The above warnings are for those who are able to earn a livelihood, and thereby have no excuse for begging .However,  when we are approached by beggars, we should not reproach them. Either donate something or speak what is good or politely excuse yourself or 

 we should gave them only food and water not a single rupee in cash. If they are poor, we should help them of course,they need food for survival shelter or job , we should try to fulfilled their needs.

 A campaign has been launched in Rawalpindi/Islamabad for a definite social renaissance. 

• As part of this social renaissance campaign, everyone out there

 "From now on, will not give a single rupee to any beggar (women / men / old / disabled / children) except food and water," they vowed.

 *  This will stop huge income of the begging mafia. 

This will also reduce child abduction.
